HAF Fully Funded Play Sessions ARE BACK at Safari Play

Following the incredible response to our previous HAF events, we are proud to continue supporting families in our community with funded play and meal sessions during the school holidays.

A Proven Success
Our previous HAF programmes have been a fantastic success where sessions filled quickly, families returned with wonderful feedback, and hundreds of children were able to enjoy:

• 2.5 hours of active play in our award-winning indoor play centre
• Time to explore, climb, slide and build confidence in our giant playframes
• Imaginative adventures in our role play areas
• A hot, nutritious meal included for every child
• A complimentary drink for accompanying adults

Safari Play was recently named runner up for Best Large Indoor Play Venue in the UK, and we are incredibly proud to open our doors through the HAF scheme to make this experience accessible to eligible families.

Why We Run HAF Sessions
Play is not just entertainment, it is essential for children’s physical, emotional and social development. Through active and imaginative play, children build resilience, coordination, confidence and communication skills.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to play, explore and enjoy quality experiences during the school holidays. That is why we are committed to supporting the HAF programme and working with the council to deliver meaningful, memorable sessions for local families.

These sessions are designed to provide:

• Safe, structured free play in a high-quality environment
• Opportunities for social interaction and friendship building
• A warm, welcoming space for families
• A healthy hot meal for children

Please Note: We offer a limited number of HAF sessions each holiday to ensure we can provide the best possible experience for every family who attends.

Because spaces are capped and each family may attend one session only, availability fills very quickly once booking opens. We strongly encourage eligible families to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Our aim is to give as many children as possible the opportunity to benefit from this scheme, which is why bookings are carefully managed and must include both a child and accompanying adult ticket to be authorised.

If your child receives benefit-related free school meals, you can now book onto one of our available sessions here.

Reminder: Each session includes:

• 2 hours 30 minutes of play
• A hot meal for each child
• A complimentary drink for one accompanying adult
